Is there more than one food council? Or is the one referenced the one started by Thrive Penobscot? We call ourselves the Katahdin Area Food Council. (There is a Lincoln Area Food Council, too, established by Thrive). I'm not aware of any others.

Just so you know... the local Food Council was started and is convened by Thrive Penobscot. Not sure if it needs clarification in this document .

Add Thrive Penobscot here, too. The concept of Community Gardens as another food supply for community meal programs, or food pantries, or open access for anyone in need would be in line with a addressing food insecurity with healthy food.

Add Thrive Penobscot here too... as a "who"
janedanforth Feb 15 2019 at 4:46PM on page 7
Suggestion
It would be appropriate to add Thrive Penobscot here... as it is "age -friendly" work to make businesses accessible for all.
janedanforth Feb 15 2019 at 4:44PM on page 7
Suggestion
This isn't current work of Thrive Penobscot -so TP should be taken out as a "who". I could potentially be on the subcommittee, but it isn't a focus of mine( Thrive's) currently.

KHEC Feb 14 2019 at 1:27PM on page 9
I'm note sure if this is where this action should be added. Creation of a "Senior College" for the Katahdin Region" KHEC has this on their agenda to create but we need funding. This already exists in many communities around the state at the Higher Education Centers. The "who" would be KHEC
